Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Elia Bowman and Summer Hernandez Lead Trinidad to Victory + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springfield, Trinidad was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Gryphons: they've now won six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-10.

Leading Trinidad to victory were Summer Hernandez and Elia Bowman. Hernandez had eight aces and eight assists, while Bowman had 14 assists and six aces. With that strong performance, Bowman is now averaging an impressive 2 aces per game.

They weren't the only good servers: Trinidad was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Trinidad's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Atlas Preparatory School, they are on a 41-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.
