Volleyball Game Preview: Palm Bay Pirates vs. Titusville Terriers

Palm Bay is 0-7 against Titusville since September of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Terriers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Palm Bay didn't have quite enough to beat Cocoa and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Titusville suffered their biggest defeat since August 18th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Astronaut. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Terriers haven't been shut out since back in August.

While Titusville ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.

Palm Bay's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Titusville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Palm Bay suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Titusville when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Terriers' Elise Tueche, who had 14 aces and eight digs.
