Recap: Beth Haven Bearcats vs. Thomas Nelson Generals
The Beth Haven Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Thomas Nelson, posting a 77-42 victory at home. Given Beth Haven's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Thomas Nelson is ranked 254th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Beth Haven's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Harris, who scored 19 points. The matchup was Harris' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of DaMontez Malone, who scored 17 points.
Beth Haven is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Thomas Nelson, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
