Softball Recap: Fairfax Stampede vs. Metro Tech Knights        
        
		
            
 Fairfax stacked  a  15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let the Metro Tech Knights onto the board and left with  a   25-0  win. Fairfax's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Chloe Saiz made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Saiz was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-3 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  Mariela Rodriguez and  Martiza Rodriguez did most of the damage at the plate:  Rodriguez  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and four  runs, while  Rodriguez  went 3-for-4 with six  RBI, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.  Emma Saiz was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 On Metro Tech's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Angelica Gonzalez, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double.
 The  victory (which was Fairfax's fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5. As for Metro Tech, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
 Fairfax will be playing at home against McClintock at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Fairfax will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  alive. Metro Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
