Baseball Recap: Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical lost against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial back in May of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorge Mendoza, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Mendoza is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Manuel Plata, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they moved to 8-14 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Indianapolis Arsenal Technical will face off against Indianapolis Metropolitan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they will challenge New Palestine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
