Providence Country Day dropped their record down to 10-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games.

For Exeter-West Greenwich's part, Tyler Mediros spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

At the plate, Ethan Koczwanski was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Owen Lincoln was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Providence Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they will head out on the road to challenge Juanita Sanchez Complex at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
