Basketball Recap: Berean Academy Comes Up Short

If Berean Academy was feeling good fresh off their 58-34 takedown of Marion on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Berean Academy Warriors took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Halstead Dragons on Saturday. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Berean Academy fell to 3-1. As for Halstead, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Berean Academy will venture away from home to challenge Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Academy's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Sacred Heart's offense will have their work cut out for them. Halstead will take on Hillsboro in a holiday battle at on Tuesday.
