Meanwhile, Oswego put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Joliet Central as they made off with a 20-1 win. Considering the Panthers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Adalynn Fugitt looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Oswego pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
