Baseball Recap: Alchesay Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alchesay's offense. They came up short against the Show Low Cougars on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Alchesay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Cosay, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Alchesay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Show Low, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alchesay will head out to face off against Miami at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Show Low, they will venture away from home to take on Holbrook at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
