William Merritt Game Report: @ Bell

On Friday William Merritt racked up double-digit total tackles for the very first time. He made 11 total tackles as Weatherford fell to Bell 35-21. Our internal rating system judged Friday's performance as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Looking ahead, Merritt and Weatherford will face off against Azle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Merritt had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in September of 2024 51-28. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
