Baseball Recap: Klein Cain Victorious

Klein Cain posted their closest win since April 9, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Jordan Warriors 4-3.

Blaine Bullard was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Bullard wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jose Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Mario Borges also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Klein Cain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jordan only posted a batting average of .250.

Klein Cain's win bumped their record up to 2-5-2. As for Jordan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5-1.

Coming up, Klein Cain will be taking part in a tournament against The Woodlands at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Klein Cain has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jordan, they will take on Cy-Fair at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
