Volleyball Recap: Meridian Hawks vs. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats
There's no place like home for Meridian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats by a score of 2-0 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Saturday.
Meridian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.
Alyssa Meisenhelter paced Meridian's offense, picking up ten kills. Meisenhelter got some help from Julia Meisenhelter and her 12 assists. Kaci Hayes controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
