The Catholic - N.I. Panthers will face off against the Cecilia Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cecilia took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Catholic - N.I., who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Catholic - N.I. earned a 55-45 win over Vandebilt Catholic. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Terriers are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Cecilia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-36 heartbreaker at the hands of New Iberia. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Catholic - N.I. has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Cecilia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
