Basketball Recap: Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Comes Up Short

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Sleepy Eye Indians and fell 79-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-40 back in December of 2024.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Sleepy Eye, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will venture away from home to square off against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sleepy Eye, they will square off against Cedar Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
