Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Liberty

Liberty barely beat Wyoming East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Liberty blew past Wyoming East 19-13 on Tuesday. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sheyanne Wood was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024.

The victory was the third in a row for Liberty, bringing their record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Wyoming East, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Liberty will have a chance to go back-to-back against Wyoming East: the pair will be back at it again later today.
