Basketball Recap: 14 Straight Home Wins for Math & Science College Preparatory

Math & Science College Preparatory won the last time they faced Foshay and things went their way on Friday too. The Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Foshay Wolverines 76-45. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Math & Science College Preparatory to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sterling Keyser, who posted 29 points. The match was Keyser's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Scott, who had 19 points.

Despite the loss, Foshay saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Shomare' Gray scored 15 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Victor Esteban, who earned nine points.

Math & Science College Preparatory's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39 points. As for Foshay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Math & Science College Preparatory will challenge Horace Mann UCLA Community at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Foshay, they and View Park will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
