Thursday's contest might be decided in the trenches. McAllen has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 170.2 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Mission, though, as they've been averaging only 64.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

McAllen beat Mission 42-35 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Thomas Aparicio, who rushed for 128 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Bulldogs to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
