Recap: Columbia Wildcats vs. Vallivue Falcons
The Columbia Wildcats lost against the Vallivue Falcons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between Columbia and the Falcons wasn't particularly close, with the Wildcats falling 59-40. Columbia has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Vallivue's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Martinez, who scored 22 points. Zakary Hogg was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Columbia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Vallivue, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Emmett is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Wildcats a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Vallivue, they will head out on the road to square off against the Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgevue has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five matchups.
