It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Catholic had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Trenton Tigers. Considering the Celtics have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Trenton from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Austin Hilty led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Trinity Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five contests. As for Trenton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13-1.
