Softball Recap: West Side Takes a Loss

West Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Grangeville Bulldogs, falling 23-12. On the bright side, the 12- run performance marked the Pirates' highest-scoring game to date.

West Side's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Grangeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

West Side has already played their next contest, a 14-1 loss against Glenns Ferry on the 11th. As for Grangeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against North Fremont on the 11th.
