Football Recap: Oceanside Collegiate Academy Takes Down Belton-Honea Path in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Oceanside Collegiate Academy rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Belton-Honea Path Bears as they made off with a 28-7 victory. Considering the Landsharks have won ten matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Terence Johnson out in front who rushed for 32 yards and three scores. Aiden Manavian was another key passer, throwing for 153 yards and one TD.

Despite the loss, Belton-Honea Path still got an impressive performance from Tajeh Watson-Martin, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown. Watson-Martin showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 52 yards.

The victory (which was Oceanside Collegiate Academy's 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.6 points on average over those games. As for Belton-Honea Path, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1.
