Frederick has gone 8-1 against Niwot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Frederick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Frederick came up short against Silver Creek and fell 9-5. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Raptors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Dom LeFevre made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Niwot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Holy Family, falling 9-2.

Niwot also got a good showing from Braxton Logue, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Niwot saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaige Kennedy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Frederick's record now sits at 8-11. As for Niwot, their record is now 5-12.

Everything went Frederick's way against Niwot when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Frederick made off with a 7-0 win. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
