New Hampstead is 0-4 against Benedictine since October of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Phoenix will welcome the Cadets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, New Hampstead turned things around against Wayne County on Friday. They put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 34-13 win. The Phoenix's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Benedictine got the win against Perry on Friday by a conclusive 41-17. Considering the Cadets have won five games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

New Hampstead's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Benedictine, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
