Baseball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Cheney Blackhawks

For the second straight game, Ridgeline will face off against Cheney. The Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Ridgeline made easy work of Cheney and carried off an 8-2 win. Considering the Falcons have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Cheney's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Rasmussen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Nolan McKinnon also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Ridgeline has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Cheney, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
