Volleyball Game Preview: Lafayette Generals vs. Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds + How To Watch

The Lafayette Generals will take on the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Lafayette made easy work of Estill County and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Newport Central Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Cooper on Tuesday.

While Newport Central Catholic might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cooper scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Lafayette has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Newport Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.
