Softball Recap: Randolph-Henry Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Randolph-Henry's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Tunstall Trojans on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 31 runs in the game before, the Statesmen's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Randolph-Henry's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tunstall, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Randolph-Henry will host Amelia County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Statesmen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tunstall, they are taking a road trip to square off against George Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
