Volleyball Recap: Wayne Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wayne Preparatory Academy can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Youngsville Academy Charter Firebirds on Monday. While the Generals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Firebirds 25-17 in the first set.

Wayne Preparatory Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 26-24, 25-12, 25-17.

Wayne Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Youngsville Academy Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.
