Volleyball Recap: Bonney Lake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bonney Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Olympia Bears. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Bonney Lake started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-15, 25-18, 25-0.

Among those leading the charge was Ellie Johnson, who had 20 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game. Addison Wilson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bonney Lake's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Olympia, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Bonney Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Emerald Ridge on the 14th. As for Olympia, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Graham-Kapowsin on the 14th.
