Volleyball Recap: Visitation Academy Takes a Loss

Visitation Academy lost against Westminster Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vivettes came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Vivettes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Westminster Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Westminster Christian was led to victory by Sophia Arana and Rachel Buchanan. Arana had 15 assists and six digs, while Buchanan had six digs and two aces. Arana is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Visitation Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Westminster Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6-1 record this season.

Visitation Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westminster Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Parkway West on the 16th.
