Basketball Recap: Jonesboro Comes Up Short

Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 50-34 fall against the Cabot Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricane this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-24 back in January.

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cabot, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.

Jonesboro will venture away from home to take on Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cabot, they will host Little Rock Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cabot is facing Little Rock Southwest at the right time seeing as Little Rock Southwest is stuck on a 20-game losing streak.
