Baseball Recap: Paso Robles Comes Up Short

Paso Robles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-6 to the Arroyo Grande Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly six runs.

Xander Hermanson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Garcia, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Paso Robles' record is now 1-3. As for Arroyo Grande, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paso Robles will head out to take on Righetti at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arroyo Grande, they will venture away from home to face off against Morro Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
