Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy

Marquette Manor Baptist Academy entered their tilt with Maranatha Baptist on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Sophia Mukenschnabl was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had nine aces and seven digs. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high.

Mukenschnabl wasn't the only good server: Marquette Manor Baptist Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Marquette Manor Baptist Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Faith Christian on the 12th. As for Maranatha Baptist, they will square off against Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
