Basketball Recap: Northwest Vikings vs. Gretna East Griffins
On Saturday, the Northwest Vikings lost to the Gretna East Griffins at home by a 63-49 margin. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Griffins 17-9 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Northwest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dawson Urbanski posted 11 points and three steals. That's the most steals Urbanski has posted since back in December of 2023.
