With a playoff win on the line, Canyon View rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Ogden Tigers. The Falcons not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 12-2).

Elli John was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. John was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addi Rushton, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emree Bjerregaard, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Canyon View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden only managed six hits.

Canyon View moved to 7-21 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Ogden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
