Hamburg got themselves on the board against Grand Island on Wednesday, but Grand Island never followed suit. They snuck past the Vikings with a 6-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Hamburg's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Grand Island, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Williamsville East at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 14.3, the Flames 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Grand Island will square off against rival North Tonawanda at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
