Volleyball Game Preview: Claremont Wolfpack vs. Los Osos Grizzlies

Claremont is a perfect 4-0 against Los Osos since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Claremont will head out to face off against Los Osos at 4:45 p.m.

On Friday, Claremont came up short against Crescenta Valley and fell 3-1.

While Claremont had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it was close, but last Wednesday Los Osos sidestepped Rancho Cucamonga for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Los Osos had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-11.

The victory got Los Osos back to even at 9-9. As for Claremont, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Everything went Claremont's way against Los Osos in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Claremont made off with a 3-0 win. Will Claremont repeat their success, or does Los Osos has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
