 The Seven Lakes Spartans and the Summer Creek Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but sadly the Seven Lakes Spartans had to settle for second. They took a   52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Seven Lakes' defeat signaled the end of their 22-game winning streak.
 Despite the loss, Seven Lakes still got an impressive performance from   Justice Carlton, who  dropped  a double-double on 27 points and 12  rebounds. Carlton hasn't dropped below 20 points for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shreya Jategaonkar, who  scored ten points along with four  steals.
 Seven Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 30-9. As for Summer Creek, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 21 of their last 22 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 34-3 record  this season.
 Seven Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summer Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest, a  65-35  victory vs. Fort Bend Hightower on the 24th.
