Baseball Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short

Central Crossing fell victim to Grove City and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Greyhounds. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost five in a row.

Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Grove City, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

While Central Crossing had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
