Gordon Lee waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Sand Rock Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gordon Lee easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16.

Emma Young paced Gordon Lee's offense, picking up 12 kills. Young got some help from Whitney Blaylock and her 18 assists. Blaylock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Gordon Lee's victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Gordon Lee and Sand Rock will both be playing Cherokee County the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
