Basketball Recap: Wilson's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Wilson waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-44 W against the Bluffton Bobcats.

Leading Wilson to victory were Josh Leonard and Tristan Thompson. Leonard went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Thompson dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Leonard's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Wilson pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bluffton, their loss dropped their record down to 23-3.

Coming up, Wilson will challenge Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season. Bluffton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
