Soccer Recap: Berwick Comes Up Short

Berwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Columbia Bluejays, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Berwick were already down 10-0.

Berwick's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Central Columbia, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berwick will host Holy Redeemer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Holy Redeemer will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Central Columbia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
