Soccer Game Preview: South Christian vs. Zeeland East

The South Christian Sailors will face off against the Zeeland East Chix at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Monday, South Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Union, taking the game 3-1. Given South Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Union are ranked 140th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Zeeland East has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 15. They came up short against Unity Christian on Monday, falling 7-0.

South Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1. As for Zeeland East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16-2.

Everything went South Christian's way against Zeeland East in their previous meeting back in August, as South Christian made off with a 6-1 win. Do the Sailors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chix turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
