Football Recap: Chicago Sullivan Comes Up Short

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Chicago Sullivan was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of the Mather Rangers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chicago Sullivan fell to 3-1. As for Mather, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Sullivan is set to take on their familiar foe Prosser at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mather will face off against rival Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
