Football Game Preview: Williamsburg Wildcats vs. North Union Wildcats + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Gray Robinson and Nick Vanhoose are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Williamsburg will take on North Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

North Union's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Williamsburg hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 37-0 win over Bethel-Tate. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Landon Hittle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Williamsburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 363 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 226 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and North Union had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down Greeneview 21-6 on Friday.

Williamsburg better focus on containing Wyatt Arver and Griffin Osborne as the pair were huge in North Union's win. Arver rushed for 60 yards and one TD, while Osborne rushed for 78 yards on only ten carries.

Williamsburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for North Union, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Williamsburg has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 282.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like North Union struggles in that department as they've been averaging 237.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
