After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newton Falls, Waterloo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Lowellville Rockets 3-2. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Waterloo who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-7.

Kristlyn Kehrer paced Waterloo's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kehrer got some help from Brilyn Eddy and her 26 assists. Delaney Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Despite the loss, Lowellville still got an impressive performance from Natalee Macejko, who had 26 digs. Macejko has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Waterloo's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Lowellville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Waterloo has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mineral Ridge on the 2nd. As for Lowellville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Springfield on the 28th.
