Basketball Recap: Chandler Prep Comes Up Short

Chandler Prep lost against Horizon Honors back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chandler Prep Titans were dealt a 74-42 defeat at the hands of the Horizon Honors Eagles. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Max Gerelick had a dynamite game for Horizon Honors, going 9 of 20 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Gerelick a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Richie Hewitt V, who posted ten points and five steals.

Chandler Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Horizon Honors, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

Chandler Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-39 win against Lincoln Prep on the 6th. As for Horizon Honors, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-46 victory against Heritage Academy on the 6th.
