Baseball Recap: Auburn Takes a Loss

Auburn fell victim to Kennedy Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Lancers. The Trojans have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Auburn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alec Smetheram, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kennedy Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Auburn will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Kentridge at 7:00 p.m. As for Kennedy Catholic, they will challenge Lincoln at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
