While Bushland's win against Tulia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons skirted past the Hornets 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted against the Hornets since April 2, 2019.

Bushland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tulia only posted a batting average of .095.
Meanwhile, River Road fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Dalhart on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 8-7. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.
Diego Martinez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Bushland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. River Road's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bushland hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353. It's a different story for River Road, though, as they've only averaged .224. Will they be able to contain Bushland's hitters?
Everything went Bushland's way against River Road in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Bushland made off with a 14-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
