Taylor's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Caldwell Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Ducks, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Caldwell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samantha Schroeder (2), Avery Paulsen, Peyton Wamble, and Kaitlin Crane.

Taylor is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those 14 games. Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor will face off against C.H. Yoe at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Taylor will be up against C.H. Yoe's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.68 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Caldwell, they will venture away from home to square off against Salado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
