Basketball Recap: Hadley Luzerne Comes Up Short

Hadley Luzerne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 93-44 loss at the hands of the North Warren Central Cougars. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-19.

North Warren Central found their leader in freshman Semaj Cuyler, who dropped a double-double on 43 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cuyler has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Jennings, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Hadley Luzerne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Warren Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Hadley Luzerne has already played their next matchup, a 62-52 loss against Northville on the 13th. North Warren Central has also already played their next game (against Whitehall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
